April 22, 2008Happy Earth Day everyone! I have my blog reading from my databases correctly now. I'm very excited about that. The image page still needs some work, which I'm still going crazy about. I would really like to have some more frequent posts (maybe every other week), I can never be too sure, though. I plan on refurbishing a house over the next few months, and if it looks good enough I shall document that. Happy birthday, Erin!
I should just buy a new computer
March 20, 2008My Ubuntu hard drive took a dump and died. I am almost positive it's the logic board that needs to be replaced on it. I have been searching for a replacement hard drive with the same serial, but it would cost me more to buy and ship that along with buying a set of Torx bits. What that boils down to for me is, I have to transfer all of my CDs to my HDD and try and rebuild my 20+GB music library. And I have to configure Apache, PHP, and MySQL on my stupid XP drive to begin working on my new scripts. I guess that's why they say always back up your data at least once a month. :-(

January 31, 2008I have my new VGA fan running, and I had some difficulties getting my dual-core running. Apparently, my RAM (being Corsair ValueSelect) isn't guaranteed to have the CAS latency values recommended on the site. So, I'm basically going to need to scrap my 512 sticks and upgrade to some Corsair XMS GB Dimms. But I can start finishing up the site once again. I've ran into an issue with my PHP modules. I can't return a proper MySQL value as a link from within the modules.

January 17, 2007Since I had my some Christmas bonus left, and I have UT3 I figured it's a waste to be running it without a dual core. I shelled out $60 for it and Newegg had it to my house in about 10 hours. Awesome. Unfortunately, I need a new fan for my GPU. Go figure. So, until I get that fan and get my rig up and running again I can't really fix the site. All of my PHP/MySQL work is stored and blah.
A new layout? No way!
January 14, 2007This is my content. My news will be posted here along with other random things. Well, I've smashed 3 layouts together. And was inspired from a previous Jimi Demetriou layout for part of the one. So, I need to reconfigure some PHP modules and hopefully the reconstruction will be closer to 100%. And just a heads up I built this site for Firefox users, and refuse to build an extra layout specifically for IE. Plus IE doesn't handle PNG transparency the way it should, the header looks like crap because of that little gem there. I am still working, but here is kind of what to expect. Enjoy. :-D or bother me on AIM with comments, concerns, or questions. Oh yeah! If you're viewing this on IE, you'll only be able to check it out until I put the final touches up. I will be blocking IE users. Sorry, but it's a broken browser.
